About
Mathilde Salmi Marjavara is a Norwegian soprano from north of Norway. She is of Finnish origin, kven, currently based in Oslo.
Mathilde discovered the joy of music at an early age. She trained the accordion from the age of 10, before acting and singing gradually became her main interest.
She studied classical music at Barratt Due Music Institute and the Norwegian Academy of Music, followed by a master degree in opera at the Norwegian Academy of the Arts.
Mathilde is a versatile artist, making appearances in stage performances - opera productions as well as concerts.
